Wow. I was the object of ridicule in my school too, though never as bad as how they treated you. But, I was invited to the last reunion and did not go. I don’t want to see those people. I looked at some pictures on myspace and it appears they are all the same drunken, overly self indulgent, spoilt rich kids I hated back then. I’m sorry these feelings were brought back for you. It hurts no matter how long ago it was.

Same thing happened to me. There was a certain sense of revenge or something when I hit the ignore button and turned her down.
