When I visited Ohio earlier this year (northern OH, we flew into Pitt), at the church luncheon there were several of these ham loaf things, like a meat loaf but made with, dare I say ham burger? Ground ham? If anyone has a recipe I'd love one, it was truly an…interesting…dish. Good, but different.

Pittsburgh has (to my eyes) lots of really interesting architecture. Plus, what we consider to be practically historical landmarks out here in California – Craftsman homes & bungalows – abound and are a dime a dozen. The suburbs are widespread and the homes are relatively spacious. And for some reason in my cousin's area, the garages are all in the back of the house, so all you see in front is, well, the front.

Oh, and I LOVE KENNYWOOD. I worked there for 3 summers while in College and it was so fun to feel like an "insider" i love to go back every year and can't wait to take Bobby!!

I look forward to taking Cassidy there.

And of course the Pittsburgh Penguins!!! :) Chuck’s a Pittsburgh Pirates fan, but unfortunately, with how pathetic they have been over the years, they certainly aren’t an incentive! ALTHOUGH their stadium is awesome.
